HNECC PHN does not provide health care services, instead we fund health care providers to deliver a range of primary health care services that are appropriate and relevant to the needs of their communities.
The funding process is undertaken through a commissioning process. For more information on how we commission services click here
To date we have successfully commissioned a range of Primary Health Care Services that were previously administered by Medicare Locals. Below are links to lists of services and providers. It is grouped by sub region and lists the range of primary health services that are available for referral.
We have also completed the commissioning of new services to improve access to drug and alcohol treatment options and culturally appropriate mental health services for Aboriginal people.
Due to varying start-up requirements for the service providers, the dates for service commencement will differ across our region. We will provide an update to stakeholders once these commissioned services become active.
You can view the details of successful service providers below.
Health service providers wishing toparticipate in the commissioning of services need to register as a supplier on https://www.tenderlink.com/hneccphn/. Once registered you will be notified of all future Expressions of Interest / Quotations / Tenders conducted by HNECC Limited.
We have developed a set of guiding principles for the commissioning of health services to Aboriginal communities and they can be accessed by clicking on this link.
HNECC PHN also produces a range of resources, integrating, analysing and summarising information and data from many sources to support health planning and health service delivery in our region. Our current resources are available here
